Industrial Air Pollution Control

Our services include detailed analysis of client needs for improving in-plant air quality. Specialists in improving in-plant air quality, our services include measuring and verification of existing air pollution control equipment with an emphasis on source control.

Many of our projects involve solutions that require integration with operations with minimal downtime. During the initial stages, EastPoint engineers will complete an assessment of the existing aspiration equipment, hoods, transport ducting, collection device and dust recovery/recycle. From this analysis the first step is to determine what is required to restore the system to the original operating condition or what upgrades are possible to the existing system. This approach has saved millions in costly equipment replacement.

If new aspiration equipment is required, EastPoint Engineering provides detailed design, fabrication, installation, commissioning and balancing services, which provides our customers with continuity through the project completion.

When dealing with hazardous ST-3 dusts, our experience in NFPA code compliance has been of tremendous benefit for the safe operations of our clients dust handling systems. Typical applications for dust and fume control include:
  • rubber mixing
  • rubber processing
  • coal dust
  • salt dust
  • VOCs
  • metal casting fumes
  • welding fumes
  • CO
  • Heptane
  • wood dust
  • complex hybrid systems requiring pre-separation
  • painting
  • foundry dust
  • wood chips
  • cement
  • silica
  • gypsum
